Welcome to The Burlison Bearcraft Blog by Hayley Eliza Burlison.

It's been a busy Christmas season for me, making and selling bears. I have exciting news to share. I currently sell on tedsby.com as well as ebay.com, but in the coming weeks I will also be selling new original works on Pfatt Marketplace. These will all be primitive antique style bears as well as the occasional tiny miniature too. I'm very happy about this because not only will I be a teddy bear artist, but I will be considered a folk artist too, which is something I've always dreamed about. Going to all those craft fairs with my mom in my childhood really shaped my career and I always wanted to create crafts by hand and share with the world. I chose teddy bears as my craft! There's just something wonderful about old teddy bears. They're like old friends!
